I bought one of these about 6 months ago for $6 to wear as my work beater.
I can't fault it, it's great and I've given it a pretty hard life.

Very nice review. This watch isn’t bad for five dollars. My wife bought me a blue one and it’s much better than the SYNOKE version ... with it’s larger dimension case, stiffer band, cheaper appearing display, etc. This seems much nicer on wrist. I’m glad I’m not a watch snob.

      @@SamsWatchReview Try SKMEI 2091 or SKMEI 2100 :-)

Thank you for determining the blinking pattern of this useless indicator. Or is there any use for it?

Frankly speaking, it's only for animation. No real function :)

For $5 it's damn good. For $15 it's still pretty good

For 15 thye better fix that light up to f105 level ,use. Better strap or at least easier to swap to nato strap

@@sargera1 The strap is actually quite nice and comfortable. I stole the Skmei strap and put it on my DW5600.

    Nice review!
Suggestion for the next review: SKMEI 1560, because it has a LARGE display and claims to be 100 meter resistant. The big display is an attractive feature for those of us with deteriorated eye sight :)
There are kids, and many adults, who can break anything, even a G-Shock, in minutes. For them, the SKMEI is the prime choice, because at 7 dollars, it will not hurt as much as 50 dollars :)
On the other hand, with about the same display size, the Casio W800H is almost as tough as the G-Shock DW5600, but it is only about 20 dollars and it is 100 meter water-resistant. I have also read comments, that the W800H has an easier to read display, but I never owned a G-Shock, just the W800H and prior to that the Casio W201 and a few old 80s' models.
The most comfortable plastic strap Casio I ever had was the W201-1AV (different from F201), because the recessed buttons and smooth narrow case make it very easy to wear, and the smooth sides never bite your wrist and never get snagged on clothes or anything around you.

      Thank you for sharing.
By the way, I have baby twins that love to grab and knock any watch to the floor, and the only 2 models that I can trust them (and survived so far) are the F91W and DW9052 :D

Nice review! The Skmei GShock homage isn't a bad watch. It does a lot of things well and I like the dual time. The big problem as mentioned in the video is the contrast of the screen. If that one thing was fixed this watch, in my opinion, would be a far better value than the GShock even missing a few features of the GShock.

    • @SamsWatchReview
      @SamsWatchReview  7 месяцев назад +1

Thanks you! Yes, a better contrast would be a great improvement.

    Finally an honest SKMEI review.
    Thank you.
    I don't have one and i don't think i'll ever get one.
    Anyway,
It looks nice. And the light is cool as well, i think.
    I would prefer a Casio b640....

Thank you for the appreciation. I tried to be as informative as possible.
By the way, great choice, B640 is also one of my favorites; I wear it so much that it has many scratches :D

Bought it for only 6 dollars. Considering cheapest Casio is about 15 dollars, this watch is really good for money. The thing is that can it hold up for decades like Casio? We will see.

I've got a few Skmei watches. Accuracy isn't super consistent between them but none are off more than about 30 seconds a month.
